Location: Stoke on Trent
Turnover: £360,000
Creditors: Shopfitters & HMRC
We are rated 9.6 out of 10 on Trustpilot

Mrs Weller runs a sandwich shop in Stoke on Trent and contacted us after receiving a statutory demand from a creditor. She had ignored previous correspondence and the company’s debts had spiralled to over £40,000.
On closer inspection it was clear that the business was insolvent and could not service such a significant level of debt. Despite this the company appeared viable and a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) was agreed with creditors including HMRC.
We were able to work with Mrs Weller in order to restructure the business (reduce staffing levels and renegotiate the rent which was no longer realistic) and ensure that the monthly payments of £488 were manageable.
The CVA ended last year and the business is now on a stable footing and generates healthy profits – we remain in regular contact with Mrs Weller in order to offer ongoing advice and support.
